General 通则
Applications are open to all potters seeking an opportunity to present and realize a project in a rich cultural environment. Potters who have been working independently for at least one year may apply for an individual residential work period in Dehua Yueji Kiln International Contemporary Art Center, Dehua, China.
驻地申请开放给对德化陶瓷文化之爱好者。凡独立创作一年以上之陶艺家，均可向月记窑陶瓷艺术中心申请。
A work period lasts 2 month.
驻地时间以两个月为基准。
On admission potters are provided with a private apartment and workspace. The residence includes kitchen and dining area and a wireless broadband Internet access.
陶艺中心供给驻地艺术家独立的创作、食、宿与无线宽带网络。
Up to 11 individual work periods are available at any given time. Dates for the periods are staggered so as to offer exhibitions for attending artists as well as to offer the opportunity for artists to share their experiences with a maximum number of attending artists in residence, and other local artists.
为方便与其它驻地艺术家之经验交流，与展览之安排，月记窑陶瓷艺术中心每年提供十一个驻地期间。

Work Studios offer facilities for working in clay including basic glazing ingredients, three wheels, one slab roller, one electric kiln, one wood-firing salt kiln, and two 33-meters-long wood kilns.
陶艺中心提供基本釉药，其设备有三台拉坯机、一台陶板机、一座电窑、一座柴烧盐釉窑与两座33公尺的柴烧龙窑。

Fees 收费标准
■ The fee for a work period of 2 months is US$3,800. (20% off)
■ 1 month in the summer period is US$2,150. (10% off)
■ Staying less than 1 month is charged US$80 daily.
■ Student is charged US$40 daily.
■ 驻地两个月之费用为美金3,800元。
■ 驻地一个月之费用为美金2,150元。
■ 驻地少于一个月，以每日美金80元收费。
■ 学生以每日美金40元收费。

■ Basically, we recommend you fly to Hongkong, and then transfer to Xiamen. We’ll pick you up at Xiamen International Airport.
■ If you fly to Shanghai, we’ll help you to book the inland flight ticket to Xiamen(XMN) or Quanzhou(JJN). We’ll pick you up at Xiamen or Quanzhou airport.
■ 基本上，我们建议您搭机到香港，然后再转机到厦门。我们会到厦门高崎机场接您。

An individual working space 独立的个人工作空间
If appropriate, your work may be exposed and sold in the gallery of the Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center. These sales can help offset your costs for the residential work term. A 50% commission is retained by the center for any work sold in the gallery.
驻地艺术家作品于月记窑陶瓷艺术中心售出后，需支付其作品价格之百分之五十于艺术中心，作为陶瓷艺术中心驻地计划发展之经费。
If appropriate, Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center may help you to do a one-day personal demonstration. All the fee of the participants (may be discussed when you are at the center) will be yours.
月记窑陶瓷艺术中心将依驻地艺术家之作品示范内容，安排其个人之示范讲学，自参加者所收之学费，归驻地艺术家所有。（参加者之学费价格另议）
The art center will help you to do your solo exhibition. 陶艺中心为驻地艺术家举办个展。
No refundment can be made for early departure, and the late arrival.
驻地艺术家提早离开或晚到，月记窑陶瓷艺术中心不归还其驻地费用。
On notification, successful applications shall confirm their intention to participate and forward a deposit of US$200.
驻地申请通过后，驻地艺术家应缴交美金200元之保证金。
Selection 甄选方式
An admissions committee will review applications and select candidates. Decisions are based on the documentation of previous work over the last 5 years (slides or digital images of your work and curriculum); quality of the project work plan and the proposals’ suitability for the Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center.
月记窑陶瓷艺术中心驻地艺术家甄选委员会，依申请者之履历及近五年之作品资料，决定是否通过其驻地计划。
Final acceptance is at the discretion of the selection committee. In some instances, artists may be invited to participate without submitting an application.
驻地艺术家甄选委员会在特别情况下，无需审核，邀请驻地艺术家。
Conditions驻地规则（适用中国内地艺术家和国外艺术家）
A residential work period has some conditions:
驻地规则如下：
■ The residential work period at the Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center is considered to be of full-time work, any exceptions require prior approval.
■ 驻地艺术家于月记窑陶瓷艺术中心创作，应视为一全职工作，如需暂时离开，应提前知会艺术中心。
■ For the duration of the residential work period, the artist must be insured for medical and personal liability and damages (third party insurance).
■ 驻地艺术家需自行支付其医疗及人身安全之保险。
■ Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center cannot offer storage accommodation after the work period is concluded.
■ 驻地计划结束后，月记窑陶瓷艺术中心不提供驻地艺术家之作品仓储。
■ At the end of the work period, the artist shall give a public presentation at the center or Dehua Ceramics College.
■ 驻地计划结束前，驻地艺术家需于月记窑陶瓷艺术中心或德化陶瓷艺术学院，做专题之演讲。
■ At the end of the work period the resident’s project may be documented and published on the Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center website.
■ 驻地计划结束前，驻地计划应被存档、并公开于月记窑陶瓷艺术中心网站。
■ Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center is creating a collection of works created by its residents. This collection will be exhibited locally, and in the future, internationally. Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center reserves the right to select one piece that you have created in residence as your contribution to this collection. Yueji kiln Center has exclusive and absolute ownership and legal right to dispose of this collection. All other works are the property of the artist, however if artists desire to sell their works during their residence, Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center agreement is required.
■ 月记窑陶瓷艺术中心有权自驻地作品中，免费挑选一件作为典藏，并于国内或国际展出。
■ The artist has the obligation to state, at exhibitions or in publications concerning work produced at the Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center that the work was made at Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center.
■ 驻地艺术家有责任于展览会其它公开场合，告知社会大众其于月记窑陶瓷艺术中心创作之作品。
Cancellation provisions 驻地申请取消条款
Application processing Fee 申请费（国内艺术家免付）
The application processing fee is US$20 and non-refundable.
Residency Fees 驻地费用之收取
Payment in full of all fees is required of artists at the arrival of Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center. Unforeseen circumstances may compel an artist to cancel registration. In this event: Written notice must be received by Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center a maximum of 30 days before the planned start of residency. While deposits are forfeited, prepaid residency fees will, in these circumstances, be refunded. Both deposits and prepaid residency fees are forfeited should notice of cancellation not be received by Yueji Kiln Ceramic Art Center as stipulated.
驻地艺术家到达当日，既需缴交所有费用。特殊情况下，未能实施驻地计划时，需于驻地三十天前通知月记窑陶瓷艺术中心，陶瓷艺术中心亦应归还驻地艺术家已缴费用。
